How to Convert Images in 3 Easy Steps

01

Adjust Settings

Choose your target format and adjust the quality slider to find the perfect balance between size and clarity.

02

Upload Your Files

Select or drag and drop your images into the conversion zone. We support JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and more.

03

Download & Save

Conversion happens instantly in your browser. Download individually or grab everything as a convenient ZIP file.

Why use this converter

Privacy First

Unlike other converters, we don't upload your files to our servers. All processing is done client-side.

Runs in the Browser

Each image is converted with the Canvas API on your device, one file at a time.

Modern Formats

Stay ahead of the curve with support for next-gen formats like WebP and AVIF for better web performance.

Pixel Safety Cap

There is no daily quota. Images wider or taller than 16,384 pixels, or over 80 million pixels, are skipped so the tab stays stable.

Batch Queue

Add several images, convert them in order, then download each file or a ZIP of the results.

Quality You Set

The slider affects JPEG, WebP, and AVIF. PNG output stays lossless. Animated files keep the first frame only.

Compress Image to 200 KB

Built for forms, email and sites that reject files over 200 KB. Set a byte ceiling β€” not only a quality slider. Processing stays on your device.

Workflow Steps

1
Keep the 200 KB target (or change it). Pick JPEG or WebP if the source is a large PNG.
2
Drop one or more images.
3
Download the result. If the tool had to downscale, the new pixel size is shown in the queue.

Use Cases

  • Government or school forms that cap uploads at 200 KB.
  • Email signatures and tickets that bounce larger attachments.
  • CMS fields with a hard media quota.

Key Highlights

  • Target file size, not only Quality 75%.
  • Binary-search quality for JPEG, WebP and AVIF.
  • Downscales only after quality can go no lower.
  • PNG/GIF often cannot hit 200 KB lossless β€” the tool switches to JPEG and tells you.
  • Batch + ZIP, same as the main compressor.
  • No server upload.

Why a byte ceiling is different from a quality slider

Most people do not want β€œa bit smaller”. They need ≀ 200 KB because a form said so. This page searches quality, then reduces pixels if the floor is still too big. The generic Compress Image tool also has a target field; this URL is for the 200 KB intent.

PNG and the 200 KB cap

PNG is lossless. A 2000 px screenshot may never become 200 KB as PNG. The compressor then writes JPEG (or your chosen WebP/AVIF) and notes that the format changed. Transparency is flattened on JPEG.
